Below are testimonials and words of gratitude from the programs we work with and other recipients of Santa Tim’s services.

2024 Testimonials:

January 29, 2024

The Santa Tim Program is the giver that never forgets about the clients that are served by CCS. These clients all have special needs and are of all socio-economic backgrounds. These clients are often overlooked in the community.

In these times with inflation on the rise for everything, the Santa Tim has helped countless clients and their families with food, clothing, toys and the basics needed to keep going.

Our families are so blessed as the Santa Tim Program watches over our group year round, helping families make ends meet and keep food on the table.  We are so grateful for all that you do.

Thank you!

My name is Leslie, I am a single mother of 4 boys, and I live in Sonoma County. I reached out to Santa Tim right before the holidays, not for myself but in hopes of helping my best friend, we will call her “B”. B is also a single mother from Sonoma County; however, her situation is more delicate than mine. B has a heart condition and is currently homeless. I explained the whole story to Santa Tim. Not only did he help B and her kids, but he also helped me and my boys.

Santa Tim is such a wonderful man. He helped us with gift cards to get food. New warm jackets, sweatshirts,  blankets and other items for our families. He has reached out a couple times after the holidays offering food and other items that have helped our families.

I recently had surgery and his partner drove all the way to my house with crates full of food to help both of our families. I can never express the amount of gratitude I have for them all.

I know I speak for both B and myself when I say we beyond blessed for all Santa Tim has done for us and our families. We have seen the work he does for others and believe he is truly an angel on earth.

Thank you, Santa Tim and all your helpers!

Previous Years’ Testimonials:

Hi Santa Tim!

I hope this email finds you well, in spite of the craziness that is 2020! I know we’re all going through our own ups and downs with the changes that we’re facing, but you have gone above and beyond to help our CCS community. Our families frequently share with us their gratitude for your generosity, but feel unable to express in words how much you mean to them. Although you are not likely to hear their words, know you have touched the lives of many during a time they are feeling isolated and forgotten.

As therapists, we thank you too! If you spend time in our offices, we routinely talk about those that we serve as our kids, our families, because we are a part of their daily life, rejoicing in their success, and worrying about their struggles. We see you there too! You’ve known so many of our families for years and we are lucky to have you a part of our community.

Thank you for all you do!

Best,

We at CCS are beyond grateful to work with Santa Tim. His organization has helped countless families in so many ways. During this time of Covid, many of our families have been unemployed, finding it a great hardship to keep food on the table. In dozens of cases, Santa Tim has bridged the gap for these families helping them with food and food cards. Many of our families are single parents now faced with home schooling their kids and receiving their therapy via zoom. The Santa Tim Organization has also helped families with acquiring specific pieces of equipment needed for our medically fragile patients to do their home exercise programs that insurance would not cover. This organization has a ripple effect of changing lives and we at CCS are blessed for the support for the clients that we serve.

With deepest thanks,

Just wanted to thank you for your ongoing support to the CCS families. Like for many families, the Shelter In Place has caused hardship for families with medically fragile children. The fear of being out in public and exposed, possibly becoming a carrier of Covid-19 yet still needing to work and provide. In some cases, many of our families in need have lost employment and are doing all they can to feed their families. The food cards that have been donated by Santa Tim have been sent out to 32 families to date with more going out to support families as the need is discovered. These food cards are greatly appreciated and are truly bridging the gap during this time.

Thank you so much!

Tim Oxford and Oxford Construction have been long-time supporters of The Living Room. “Santa Tim” and his team are tireless advocates of this community and give endlessly to support those who are experiencing hardship. When we find ourselves in serious need of any particular thing, whether it be essential supplies or a needy child’s birthday, Santa Tim finds a way to provide.

We have also had the privilege of working with Oxford Construction on several remodeling and ADA compliance projects and they do excellent work. They handle these projects from permit to finish work and do so with professionalism and precision.

Oxford Construction is a great example of how a successful business can also be civically responsible and philanthropic.

From  Marcy Clausen on the Holiday Party Committee at The Living Room

The Living Room Holiday Party

"The Living Room is a day center for women and children in Sonoma County who are homeless. Each year, we host a holiday luncheon and party for the women and children. We serve lunch for about 100 women and 60 children, enjoy music, and then the children choose a stuffed animal, receive a stocking and candy cane. The highlight of the party is the arrival of Santa Claus - Santa Tim Oxford, who greets each child warmly and has his photo taken with the child and mother. His “ho-ho-ho — Merry Christmas” fills the room with excitement and hopefulness, as they know their not forgotten at the holiday season. Santa Tim has blessed us with his visit for the past 4 years, spreading joy to all families, staff and volunteers, and having photos taken with everyone. He also provides many special tangible gifts — flashlights for each person, bicycle and helmets for women who have no transportation, sleeping bags, and toys. It’s a magical time and we greatly appreciate being on Santa Tim’s list.

He’s made the holidays bright!"

From Julia Agee, the Activity Director at Healdsburg Senior Living:

"Hello,

I would like to take a minute to share with you a wonderful program we have created at Healdsburg Senior Living.

I would kindly call it the Special Santa Visiting Program.  Santa Tim, as he is infectiously called, has been working with our community for over 7 years.  When speaking with him prior to our first visit, he said “it's important for me to visit with this ladies and gentleman, and I want to make sure I visit everyone.”  He stayed true to his promise and spent several hours his first visit at our Senior Community.

What is special to us is the time and dedication Santa Tim exemplifies and the greatest joy he brings to others.

We have also started a program with the local preschool, where he comes to surprise the youngsters, who think they are coming to sing songs and spread Christmas Cheer with the residents, they are surprised themselves by Santa, and a truly special event begins.

It is always a pleasure to be a part of the Santa Tim program, and what a valuable contribution he is to our community."

Windsor Rotary Service Above Self Award Winner 2014

Here is what Rotary says about Santa Tim:

"Tim is a general contractor who believes in and practices community service.  It is a trait he acquired from his father and one that he passes along to his sons as well.  More than 23 years ago Tim started playing Santa at a Christmas party for low-income families.  He has done the same every year since.  Where once he touched hearts with his presence, he now touches lives with his ability to provide warmth with blankets, sleeping bags, coats, food, toys and so much more for the less fortunate in his community.  The list of charitable work seems endless.  Tim recently incorporated as a non-profit to expand his services even further.  He does all this in addition to his profession as a contractor.  His energy seems endless as he makes miracles happen for those who are struggling."

The Santa Tim Program also received $1000 donation from Windsor Rotary in addition to receiving the top award.

River To Coast Children's Services

"We are a non-profit agency in West Sonoma County serving low-income children and families. I became aware of Santa Tim and his organization when I met one of his elves during our golf tournament.

In the winter our agency has a gift giving program where we reach out to those more fortunate to donate gifts to the children in our community.  Every year we give out more than 300 gifts.  This year with the generosity of Santa Tim we were able to give out over 400 gifts. If I could capture the look on the faces of the children who received these gifts I am sure they would be the happiest faces a child could have!

After the Holidays Santa Tim called us to see if there were any other needs in the community that he might be able to fulfill.  I told him about a little boy who got a bike but his sister did not.  I also told him that our families are requesting jackets as this winter has been very cold and some children didn’t have warm jackets.  A week later we were given several warm jackets and a bike for the little girl.  When we called the father to come pick up the bike he cried and said that his daughter would be so happy that she could ride together with her brother.

Santa Time and his organization have made so many children in Sonoma County feel valued; we would like to give Santa Tim and his organization a big THANK YOU!!"

Sincerely,

Jynx Lopez,
