The History of Santa Tim

The Santa Tim program started over 30 years ago when Tim was asked to “play” Santa at a non-profit event. Over the years, the Santa Tim program has grown steadily. We have proudly partnered with dozens of local Sonoma County non-profits serving thousands of low-income families. In addition, we have directly supported hundreds of families in need via the form on our website by gifting them clothing, gas, food, gift cards, toys and sometimes monetarily depending on their urgent needs.

There are many “believers” in Santa Tim. With the unwavering support from friends, family and our local community, Santa Tim picks up his Santa bag every year and continues to bring joy with his gifts and encouragement through his words. We encourage you to join the many believers in Santa Tim and participate in supporting your local community services who make a huge difference in local family’s lives

Let us all make a difference, one child at a time!

Who is Santa Tim?

The spirit and hard work of the Santa Tim program is from our own Tim Oxford of Windsor, CA.  Tim Oxford, aka Santa Tim, was born and raised in San Diego.  His father served in the military as a submariner and he instilled community service work into Tim and his four brothers and sisters at a very young age. Tim moved to Sonoma County in 1983 and has owned and operated his general contracting company, Oxford Construction, for over 40 years.  He is well known in the Windsor community as serving in countless ways by stepping up when he hears of a need he's able to fill.  When confronted by a mission of service that requires other expertise, he doesn't hesitate to help.
